DESCRIPTION: EPW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, ultra-thin couteau-style (knife edge) dress watch, 46mm, 3.9mm front/rear thickness with crystal included, 18K gold OF original Vacheron & Constantin case, silvered dial with applied gold indices, SW-SS, lever escapement, 20J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#506513. Gross weight of assembled watch 22.1 dwt (34.4 g).
CONDITION: Mvt: Running but winding is problematic as there is a very frequent slippage of winding mechanism, only given a partial wind during testing so as to not potentially exacerbate this issue, overhaul needed and we emphatically recommend this is corrected before watch is wound further, fourth wheel with a replacement jewel within brass bushing, otherwise excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered micro-fine scratches to plates; visible portion of dial with some mild light spotting at perimeter near 1, micro-fine scratch between 5 and center; excellent hands; case shows hardly any wear, fine to micro-fine scratches to rear, no dents or dings, circular rear finish remains present; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
ESTIMATE: $1400 - $2400
